I’m Michael Cloutier. I teach bass and guitar in San Francisco’s Sunset District, for kids ages 8 and up and adults. We’ll start with the music you’re interested in and take it from there.
Everyone learns differently. If something isn’t clicking, we’ll try another way. I want you to enjoy playing, feel comfortable asking questions, and have a good relationship with music.

Take your lesson from home over Zoom. It’s a good option if you’d rather skip the trip to the studio.

If getting to a lesson is the tricky part, I may be able to come to you. This usually works best for kids and adults with limited schedules. Let’s talk about your location and availability.
