Yes. You don’t need to know any chords, read music, or have taken lessons before. We’ll start with the basics and spend time on what you need. Let me know what you like listening to; that gives us somewhere to begin.

Yes, I teach kids ages 8 and up and adults of any age. If you’re asking about lessons for your child, tell me a little about what they enjoy and whether they’ve tried an instrument before.

I teach in person at the studio in San Francisco’s Sunset District and online over Zoom. Home visits may also be possible, depending on your location and our schedules.

Possibly, yes. Scheduling can be hard, so let’s see what we can work out together. Home visits usually work best for kids and adults with limited schedules. Include your neighborhood and availability in your inquiry. An adjusted rate may apply depending on location and time, and we’ll agree on it before booking.
